At Fremont Veterinary Clinic, we provide routine wellness and preventive care services as well as medical or behavioral concerns for your exotic pets.
- Wellness and Preventive Care
Much like cats and dogs, regular veterinary care is beneficial to exotic pets to help them live a long, happy and healthy lives. Our vets are trained in the unique care and veterinary treatment of these species.
Our veterinarian will examine your pet's housing, nutrition and care during the initial wellness visit and will perform a comprehensive physical examination. When necessary, the vet will discuss and recommend health screening tests and vaccines. You will also be able to discuss any concerns you may have about husbandry, health or behavior, and our veterinarian will also answer any questions you may have.
- Sick Pet Appointments and Daytime Emergencies
Our vets can see exotic pets with health or behavior concerns. If possible, please call (209) 465-7291 in advance to determine the vet's availability. While we do accept walk-in and work-in emergencies for exotic pets, there may be an additional fee if appointment double-booking occurs.
- After-Hours Emergencies
Our hospital is fully equipped to meet the needs of critically sick exotic pets. Our Emergency Services are staffed by a team of veterinarians, registered veterinary technicians, and support staff.
If possible, please call in advance to determine if our vet is available or if our Emergency Service veterinarian is able to evaluate your exotic pet.
